Pass The Salt is a direct-to-consumer start-up offering curated hosting boxes to help you make gatherings easy peasy - step up date night, invite the neighbors over for drinks, take game night up a notch.

Every box is perfectly themed to share and discover cultures, tastes and stories. In each box, expect
1. Product Discovery: local brands that tell a story
2. Mixology made easy: small-batch mixers and cocktail recipes
3. Entertainment: ...and because cocktails over a curated spread just taste better when you’re laughing with friends, every box includes conversation-starters, a playlist to set the mood, and on-theme movie-night recs that go hand-in-hand.

When founder Alexandra Glass dreamed up of this idea, her quest was to make gathering convivial, pleasurable yet thoughtful, building local communities around – and inspired by – food and drink. At a time when we’re craving connection more than ever, she wanted hosting to be stress-free.

NAMING
In this vein, we named her brand the witty, colloquial phrase commonly thrown around the table - "Pass The Salt" 

VISUAL IDENTITY
Casual and vibrant - the brand's visual language is made up of summery colors, salt crystals (diamond shapes) just like confetti, and a use of bold color grids to hark back to the form of the product - a box. The photography style is perfectly imperfect: it depicts the fun and upbeat of a party; the candid moments of enjoyment versus the prep.

After just a year in the market, Pass The Salt's vibrant and casual tone, curated offering and quality of product — hand-picked by Alexandra herself and loving made by artisans — has earned the brand a dedicated community of customers and a host of press features.
